The Jatayu Park - The Much-Awaited Adventure Center of Kerala


The Jatayu Park, with many adventure sports and other activities for people who love adventure and trekking and for all those who love nature is now the main point of attraction as an adventure center.

The rock atop a hill in Chadayamangalam of Kollam district in Kerala, popularly known as the Jatayu rock is the main point of attraction in this adventure center.  The mythical bird of Ramayana, Jatayu is believed to have fallen on this rock and breathed its last when it was struck by Ravana. 

Mr. Rajiv Anchal, a famous architect and sculpture specialist took a great effort for many years and designed and created the huge sculpture of the Bird; which itself is a museum is visited by many adventure lovers to this beautiful adventure center.   


There are nearly 20 other activities like rock climbing, log-walk, cable car, archery etc. is included to attract the attention of adventure lovers of all ages.
